Everyone who hears these words of mine
and does them
will be compared to a wise man,
who builds his house on bedrock.
and rain fell
and the rivers came
and the winds blew
and beat on that house, 
and it did not fall,
for it had foundations on bedrock. 

And whoever hears these words of mine, 
and does not do them
will be compared to a foolish man, 
who builds his house on the sand.
And rain fell

and the winds blew
and beat on that house,

and it fell 
and the fall of it was great. 

And it happened that when Jesus finished these words
the crowd were amazed because of  his teaching.
For he was teaching them as having authority
and not as their scholars.

for all you have given me,
for all you have taken away from me,
for all you have left me.
