And whenever you pray, you will  not be like the hypocrites, 
because they love to pray
if they stand  
        in the synagogues
        and in the  street corners
to be seen by people.

Truly I say to you,
they receive in full their reward. 

But when you pray, 
go into your storeroom
and closing the door,
pray to your Father
who is in secret, 
and your Father who sees in secret will  repay you.

Grant, Lord,
that we may hold to you without parting,
worship you without wearying,
serve you without failing;
faithfully seek you,
happily find you,
and forever possess you,
the only God,blessed now and for ever.
