John 1:1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (NRSV)

When things began ‘the Word’ already was, and the ‘Word’ was always intimately close to God, and the ‘Word’ was one with God. (DNW)

John 1:1

O Lord Jesus Christ, stay beside me to defend me, within me to guide me, before me to lead me, and above me to bless me, that with you and in you, I may live, and move and have my being, for ever and ever. Amen.

  1. A sort of ” David type” thought.
Given that a Gallon is 4.546Litres and a Litre of Water ( or Wine) weighs 1kg, 9 gallons would be just in excess of 40kg( the same as the Burgan the SAS carry on their backs in the Brecon Beacons.
The stone water jug would be at least 3kg.
A single person ( servant at a wedding) would be incapable of lifting the thing, and pouring a glass of wine for the wedding guests- without either dropping the thing completely, or spilling rather a lot of it.
Is there any ( Biblical or otherwise) mention of how the water or Wine was actually served?
It would not have been that straightforward
