And you,
although you were dead
in transgressions and your sins,
in which you formerly walked
according to the age of this world
according to the ruler of the domain of the sky
the spirit
who is at work in the children of disobedience
among whom we all also formerly lived
in the passions of our flesh
doing the will of the flesh and (its) thoughts,
and were by nature children of wrath
and the others…
Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that thou art –
Thou my best thought, by day or by night;
Waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.

I did not know there was an intermediate zone (the sky) that we passed into? Here I thought this meant Gods Kingdom and his rule? Or does it mean the Devil as an opposing spirit and his force upon us?
Moya from PT OBrien ‘According to the ancient world view the air formed the immediate sphere between earth and heaven. It was the dwelling place of evil spirits (as the magical papyri and the literature of Judaism attest)… If there is any distinction between the expressions the Kingdom of the Air and the heavenly realm, it that it is that the former indicates the lower reaches of that realm, and therefore emphasises the proximity of the is evil power and his influence over the world. ‘ [I think there may have been more than one way for anatomising the ‘heavens’ though]
