Ephesians 1 15-16

Because of this,
I, too,
  having heard
of your faith in the Lord Jesus,
and (your) love for all the holy ones
   do not stop
    giving thanks for you
      making mention (of you)
        at my prayers.

O Love, O God who created me, in your love recreate me.
O Love, who redeemed me,
fill up in me whatever part of your love
has fallen into neglect within me.
O Love, O God, who first loved me,
grant that with my whole heart,
and with my whole soul,
and with my whole strength,
I may love you.

  1. We have Paul to thank for his amazing endeavours in establishing the worldwide church. It is indeed through him. We are reminded of the establishment in this country of for instance, as I have just seen the wonderful Sherborne Abbey and the first Bishop in A.D. 705. That went through the most dreadful arguments and fights and quarrels, so I suppose we should to be aware of the difficulties that arise even from such a wonderful place as the fan vaulted church here still an active and remarkable place of worship and prayer.

  2. I offered the above on the day of my birthday down here in Dorset, with some good friends who support me in my endeavours to keep the faith, strong and active
