We have Paul to thank for his amazing endeavours in establishing the worldwide church. It is indeed through him. We are reminded of the establishment in this country of for instance, as I have just seen the wonderful Sherborne Abbey and the first Bishop in A.D. 705. That went through the most dreadful arguments and fights and quarrels, so I suppose we should to be aware of the difficulties that arise even from such a wonderful place as the fan vaulted church here still an active and remarkable place of worship and prayer.
