And you (who) formerly were alienated (from God)
and enemies in (your) thinking
because of (your) evil deeds
…now (God) has reconciled
by his body of flesh
through his death
to present you
holy
and without blemish
and beyond reproach
in (God’s) presence
if you indeed stay in faith
established firmly
and steadfast
and not shifting
from the hope of the gospel
which you heard
which has been proclaimed to every creature
that is under heaven
of which I Paul have became a servant.

Be thou a bright flame before me,
Be thou a guiding star above me
Be thou a smooth path below me
Be thou a kindly shepherd behind me
Today – tonight -forever
