And he himself is before [all things]
and all things hold together in him.
And he himself is the head of the body – the church,
-who is the Beginning,
– being the firstborn from the dead ones,
so that he himself might become in all things pre-eminent
because all the fulness (of God) was pleased
to dwell in him (Christ).
and to reconcile [all things] to him (God)
having made peace
through the blood of his cross
(through him [ie Christ])
whether things on the earth
or things in the heavens.
O Love, O God who created me, in your love recreate me.
O Love, who redeemed me,
fill up in me whatever part of your love
has fallen into neglect within me.
O Love, O God, who first loved me,
grant that with my whole heart,
and with my whole soul,
and with my whole strength,
I may love you.
