Then the Chief Priest rose up,
and those who were with him,
(who were of the Sadducee party),
they became filled with jealousy
And they laid hands on the apostles,
and they put them in a public prison.
But the angel of the Lord
during the night
opened the doors of the prison,
led them out and said:
‘Go and
when you stand,
continue to speak in the Temple
to the people
all the words of this life. ‘
When they heard (this)
they entered the Temple
at daybreak
and began to teach.
O Love, O God who created me, in your love recreate me.
O Love, who redeemed me,
fill up in me whatever part of your love
has fallen into neglect within me.
O Love, O God, who first loved me,
grant that with my whole heart,
and with my whole soul,
and with my whole strength,
I may love you.
