This one is
‘The stone, which was despised by you, the builders,
(the one who) has become the head of the corner’1
And there is no salvation in anyone else
for there is no other name
under heaven,
given among humans
in which we must be saved.’
Seeing the boldness of Peter and John,
and realising that they were uneducated and ordinary men,
they were marvelled.
And they recognised that these men had been with Jesus.
But seeing the man standing with them
who had been healed,
they had nothing to say in opposition.
O Lord, in whom is our hope,
remove far from us, we pray thee,
empty hopes and presumptuous confidence.
Make our hearts so right with thy most holy and loving heart,
that hoping in thee we may do good;
until that day when faith and hope
shall be abolished by sight and possession,
and love shall be all in all.
Christina Rossetti (1830-94)
