But what I am doing
also I will (continue to) do,
so that I may cut off the opportunity
of those who want an opportunity
that they might be found
– in what they boast about –
to be as we are.
For such are false apostles
deceitful workers
disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.
And no wonder!
For Satan disguises himself
as an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing
if his servants also disguise themselves
as servants of righteousness.
(Their) end will be according to their works.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace:
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, union;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy,
For your mercy and for your truth’s sake. Amen
