Because the carrying out (ministry)
of this service
is not only supplying the needs
of the saints,
but also overflows
with many thanksgivings
to God.
Because of the evidence of this ministry
(people will ) glorify God
because of your obedient confession
of the gospel of Christ
and (your) generosity of the sharing
with them and with
all.
And as they pray for you
they will long for you
because of the surpassing grace of God on you.
Thanks (Grace) to God, for his indescribable gift.
Drop Thy still dews of quietness,
Till all our strivings cease;
Take from our souls the strain and stress,
And let our ordered lives confess
