Now everything is from God,
who has reconciled us
to himself
through Christ
and who gave to us
the ministry of reconciliation.
That is
God was,
in Christ,
reconciling the world to
himself,
not reckoning
against them
their trespasses
and having committed
to us
the message of reconciliation.
Therefore we are ambassadors for Christ
on behalf of Christ
as God appeals through us.
We beseech
Be reconciled to God.
God made the one
who did not know sin
sin
on our behalf
so that we might become
the righteousness of God.
Lord, you have given me so much,
I ask for one more thing –
a grateful heart.
